The shopping cart system on this site uses "session cookies" to track the items you add to it. This is an essential part of the functionality of this site. A session cookie does not store any personally identifiable information about you. When you visit our site, the system sends a small piece of unique information in the form of a long string of random characters and numbers to your computer which it stores temporarily (30 minutes). Each time you request a page from our site, this same piece of information is requested by the site and then rewritten back to your computer. The only element that changes when the cookie is written back is the timestamp of the file that is updated. The long sequence of characters and numbers is used solely to allow the shopping system to track which products you have selected (these are stored in a database on the server with the long character string as their owner). If your browser is set to refuse session cookies, you will be unable to use our shopping system because the character string will change with every page you view instead of remaining constant throughout your visit.

Occasionally, when placing an order online, we require various personal details from you. It is important that you supply all details requested in order that we can validate orders efficiently. You can be assured that we treat your personal details, including email address and telephone numbers in confidence. We do not disclose such details to any third party or otherwise use them, except in connection with expediting/processing your orders/products. We do not send out unsolicited emails ('spam') and your email address will not be added to any mailing lists (unless requested). We will not use details of your purchases in our marketing/publicity materials or any other promotion without your consent. These policies exclude any disclosure which we are required by law to make, crime prevention, legal action or any issues relating to product safety.

When purchasing goods online your payment details are handled by PayPal, please refer to their own privacy policy in regard to the privacy of your details with them.
